The same Pedroches is a peneplain inside Sierra Moraine, but what is really known as "la Sierra" is the area to the south of the region, where the land rises until bench marks of 959 m (Chimorra), being this the highest point in the north area of the province of Córdoba. The Sierra embraces several Municipal Terms, mainly Alcaracejos, Pozoblanco and Villanueva of Córdoba.
Due to the beauty and multitude of panoramics that can be observed in the Sierra, all visitor of Los Pedroches should visit this area so charming, since otherwise, the trip to our area would be incomplete.  

The extensive ecological olive groves and the variety of farms and mill that sprinkle the landscape give a color note to the calm and gentle view that one can make from multitude of you pierce, one of these places is Peña Aguila, with wide views panoramics.
